Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an IT Audit intern to support IT controls testing and risk assessment engagements. You will assist in SOC engagements and IT control testing, gaining exposure to control design and operating effectiveness in client environments.

Under supervision of senior staff, you will develop technical skills, collaborate with team members, and participate in client communications while building a foundation for a career in assurance and technology risk services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools
• Performing IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
• Working with client personnel to gain an understanding of IT processes and controls, obtain audit evidence, and analyze testing results
• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients
