Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to join the Partner Growth & Strategy organization, focusing on ISV partners in New York.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping partners architect and optimize solutions on AWS and enable co-engineering, enablement, and GTM success. You will engage in architectural reviews, POCs, and Well-Architected assessments, design scalable cloud-native solutions, and develop reference architectures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or software engineering
• Experience designing or building cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned ISV partners, conducting architectural reviews, POCs, and Well-Architected assessments
• Design, build, and validate scalable cloud-native partner solutions through co-engineering efforts that drive strategic design wins (SDWs)
• Develop reference architectures and best-practice documentation for partner solutions
• Enable partner teams through workshops, immersion days, and hands-on training; support readiness for ISV Accelerate, Competency programs, and Marketplace
• Collaborate with AWS field teams to drive partner-led customer engagements and pipeline growth
• Track engagement metrics, co-engineering milestones, and strategic design win attainment
• Partner with AWS service teams to advocate for ISV requirements and influence roadmap priorities
• Collaborate across APO on territory strategy, partner prioritization, and joint planning
• Represent AWS at partner events and create technical content showcasing partner success
