Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to collaborate with ISV partners, architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, and drive co-engineering initiatives that accelerate cloud adoption.

You will lead technical engagements, validate joint solutions, and help partners achieve go-to-market success. The role combines deep technical delivery with strategic partner engagement, requiring experience in cloud architectures, customer workshops, and influencing roadmap priorities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 6 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or software engineering.
• Experience designing or building cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned ISV partners, conducting architectural reviews, POCs, and Well-Architected assessments.
• Design, build, and validate scalable cloud-native partner solutions through co-engineering efforts that drive strategic design wins (SDWs).
• Develop reference architectures and best-practice documentation for partner solutions.
• Enable partner teams through workshops, immersion days, and hands-on training; support readiness for ISV Accelerate, Competency programs, and Marketplace.
• Collaborate with AWS field teams to drive partner-led customer engagements and pipeline growth.
• Track engagement metrics, co-engineering milestones, and strategic design win attainment.
• Partner with AWS service teams to advocate for ISV requirements and influence roadmap priorities.
• Collaborate across APO on territory strategy, partner prioritization, and joint planning.
• Represent AWS at partner events and create technical content showcasing partner success.
