Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to join the Partner Growth & Strategy organization, focusing on ISV partners. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to help build, validate, and optimize partner solutions on AWS, driving design wins and GTM success through co-engineering and enablement.

You will combine broad technical expertise with relationship-building to influence partner decisions and deliver customer value through partner-led solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or software engineering.
• Experience designing or building cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned ISV partners, conducting architectural reviews, POCs, and Well-Architected assessments
• Design, build, and validate scalable cloud-native partner solutions through co-engineering efforts that drive strategic design wins (SDWs)
• Develop reference architectures and best-practice documentation for partner solutions
• Enable partner teams through workshops, immersion days, and hands-on training; support readiness for ISV Accelerate, Competency programs, and Marketplace
• Collaborate with AWS field teams (Account SAs, AMs, Specialist SAs) to drive partner-led customer engagements and pipeline growth
• Track engagement metrics, co-engineering milestones, and strategic design win attainment
• Partner with AWS service teams to advocate for ISV requirements and influence roadmap priorities
• Collaborate across APO on territory strategy, partner prioritization, and joint planning
• Represent AWS at partner events and create technical content (blogs, case studies, whitepapers) showcasing partner success
