Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to join the Partner Growth & Strategy team, focusing on ISV partners. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to design, build, and optimize solutions on AWS while driving co-engineering and enablement to accelerate cloud adoption.

As a PSA, you will influence partner technology decisions, deliver architectural reviews and workshops, and collaborate across AWS teams to ensure portfolio success through measurable design wins

Qualifications

• 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 6 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or software engineering.
• Experience designing or building cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned ISV partners, conducting architectural reviews, POCs, and Well-Architected assessments.
• Design, build, and validate scalable cloud-native partner solutions through co-engineering efforts that drive strategic design wins (SDWs).
• Develop reference architectures and best-practice documentation for partner solutions.
• Enable partner teams through workshops, immersion days, and hands-on training; support readiness for ISV Accelerate, Competency programs, and Marketplace.
• Collaborate with AWS field teams to drive partner-led customer engagements and pipeline growth.
• Track engagement metrics, co-engineering milestones, and strategic design win attainment.
• Partner with AWS service teams to advocate for ISV requirements and influence roadmap priorities.
