Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to help customers build on AWS.

You will partner with AWS Sales and other teams to craft scalable cloud architectures, guide ISVs from pre- to post-sales, and drive adoption of AWS services across large customers. This role requires strong technical breadth and excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data/analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the SA team, design, build and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Provide architectural guidance on running applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
• Assist ISVs with the definition of technical strategies to present on the AWS platform.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to create scalable cloud solutions.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers and blogs.
• Share customer feedback with internal teams to influence AWS product direction.
• Collaborate with sales to execute strategies to exceed revenue objectives through cloud adoption.
• Build relationships with senior technical stakeholders to become cloud advocates.
