Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to help high-growth ISVs build better businesses on AWS. You will work with AWS Sales, Partner, and Professional Services teams to craft scalable cloud architectures and drive adoption across diverse technology stacks.

The role requires deep architectural guidance, pre- and post-sales collaboration, and the ability to translate customer challenges into resilient cloud solutions. This position is based in the United States, Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in tech domains like software, cloud, infra, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years designing or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in the software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the SA team, ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations on running applications efficiently and reliably on AWS platform.
• Assist ISVs with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to present their offering on the AWS platform.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers and blog articles.
• Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS cloud.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of the AWS platform. This includes presentations, proof of concepts, demos, and hands on evaluations.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
