Job summary

Amazon is seeking a solutions architect to help Independent Software Vendors build on AWS and accelerate cloud adoption. You will partner with AWS Sales, Partners, and Professional Services to craft scalable, resilient cloud architectures that address customer challenges and drive adoption.

You will lead deep architecture discussions, guide customers from pre- to post-sales, and contribute to white papers and blogs, sharing prescriptive guidance across compute, databases, analytics, and security.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the SA team, ensure success in designing, building and migrating apps on the AWS platform.
• Provide architectural guidance on running applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
• Assist ISVs with defining technical strategies to present their offerings on AWS.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to create world-class AWS solutions.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers and blogs.
• Share customer feedback with product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of the AWS platform.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
