Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator for our St. Louis security operations center.

The role involves managing live responses to critical security events, performing alarm verification, video monitoring, and directing real-time communications with monitored sites using two-way audio/video systems. You will escalate incidents, de-escalate threats, and maintain detailed records while supporting customers and emergency personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong active listening and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during opening/closing.
• Communicate with locations using two-way audio/video surveillance.
• Take appropriate action including contacting emergency services when needed.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve security inquiries and support customers.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals.
• Perform video verification of alarms to confirm incidents.
• Notify specified individuals via telephone according to instructions.
• Provide life safety dispatch to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting alarms.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events.
• Use two-way audio to intervene during real-time incidents and de-escalate.
• Handle loitering, trespassing or other violations with rapid decisions.
• Document interactions and ensure follow-up for resolution.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life safety interventions.
