Job summary

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Kitchen Crew Members in Los Angeles. You will support back-of-house operations, prepare and stock ingredients, and ensure food is prepared and served to our high standards on a timely basis.

This hourly role pays $20.00 per hour and requires a Food Handler Card, basic math and English communication, reliable transportation, and a strong commitment to health and safety codes.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required by state/local health department.
• Basic math skills and basic English written/verbal communication required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Perform food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure the food is served accurately and timely to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Part-time or full-time.
