Job summary

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Kitchen Crew Members. You will play a vital role in our back-of-house operations, ensuring the smooth operation and delivering high-quality food to customers.

This is an hourly position with a competitive compensation of $20.00 per hour. The successful candidate will demonstrate core competencies in health code compliance, food preparation, inventory stocking, accuracy in order fulfillment, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required by state/local health department.
• Basic math skills and basic English written and verbal communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store through cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
