Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow M molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership in mold manufacturing and process optimization.

The role interfaces with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, vendors, and plant teams to ensure safety, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing/tooling.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and mold qualification.
• Experience with DOE and SPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Coordinate mold design and construction with tooling vendors.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting processes, machines, and tooling.
