Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in the United States is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation and qualification across manufacturing operations.

This role serves as a key liaison among Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and external vendors to ensure tooling designs, processes meet safety, quality and performance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Plastics Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing and tooling.
Experience with Injection Stretch Blow M molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
Knowledge of mold qualification, validation, DOE, and statistical analysis.
Experience supporting production startup and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/rebuilt molds.
Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
Create and maintain Process of Adjustment (POA) documentation.
Support machine startups and provide technical troubleshooting.
Lead in-house and vendor-supported technical training programs.
Maintain tooling standards, docs, and supplier performance tracking.
