Job summary
Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow M molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across Amcor manufacturing operations. You will drive resin tooling design, coordinate with product development, R&D, operations, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and performance while promoting continuous improvement.
The role requires experience with ISBM tooling, project management, and a strong engineering background.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors; qualification, validation, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for ISBM tooling.
- Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs.
- Lead tooling project management, vendor coordination, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, specs, and technical documentation.
- Train plant personnel on processing, tooling, and troubleshooting.
