Amcor Flexibles, LLC in the United States seeks a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation and provide technical leadership in mold manufacturing and equipment validation.

The role interfaces with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, vendors, and plant teams to ensure tooling designs and processes meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Plastics Engineering or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and industry experience considered.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and plastics packaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CAD, GD&T, and tooling design for mold fabrication.
• Familiarity with SAP/Windchill/Salesforce and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Maintain Master Process Sheets and POA documentation.
• Support startups and transfers of tooling and machines.
• Provide troubleshooting for processes, machines, and tooling.
• Lead continuous improvement and capability studies.
