Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects, drive process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will coordinate tooling vendors, define specifications, and ensure safe, quality, and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline (Formal Qualifications & Experience).
• 5–8 years of plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• PET packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead all blow molding tooling projects from concept to implementation.
• Develop tooling specifications and coordinate mold design with tooling vendors.
• Perform process qualification and validation for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to achieve dimensional, visual, and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Support production startup and manufacturing operations, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
