Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will liaise with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure toolings and processes meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain POA and baseline operating parameters.
• Support machine startups involving new, transferred, modified, or repaired tooling and machines.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting processes, machines, tooling, quality, and productivity issues.
