Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow M molding tooling and process development across our manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept through implementation, providing leadership in mold manufacturing, qualification, and process optimization.

You will act as a liaison between Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, and vendors to ensure tooling designs and production systems meet safety, quality and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics, or related field.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging, process or tooling engineering.
• ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and optimization experience.
• Experience with CAD drawings and tooling documentation.
• Exposure to ERP/PLM tools such as SAP, Windchill, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISBM tooling projects from scope to delivery.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual and performance specs.
• Develop tooling standards and manage vendor relationships.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and improvements.
• Maintain project databases, documentation, and records.
• Support plant startups and production readiness activities.
• Issue weekly status reports on tooling projects.
