Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time IS Support Tech to join the Information Systems department at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. The role focuses on troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and end-user support for hardware and software issues.

The position supports remote workers and on-site staff, with day shift scheduling based on department needs. The IS Support Tech will maintain equipment inventory, document fixes, and contribute to security risk mitigation while

Qualifications

Associate Degree in clinical or information technology preferred.
0–1 years of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting or helpdesk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair hardware, escalating complex issues to senior staff or vendors.
Provide first-level support for hardware, software and network issues.
Maintain accurate IT equipment inventory and track device deployment/return.
Document troubleshooting steps and system changes in logs or knowledge bases.
Create and update user guides to help end-users perform common tasks.
Identify and address potential security risks or vulnerabilities.
Support remote or field workers via phone, email or remote access tools.
Adhere to policies and perform other duties as assigned.
