The position supports the Housekeeping department with cleaning, floor care, and waste management to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and dependable attendance, with work during the day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and potential weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
• Understanding of infection control and safety standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas following infection control standards.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and dusts floors and surfaces.
• Maintains floors and upholstery per procedures.
• Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and woodwork.
• Restocks supplies and reports shortages for continuous availability.
• Handles trash and biohazardous materials safely per safety protocols.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Assists with minor repairs and reports larger facility issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
