Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to drive knowledge management, AI-enabled workflows, and innovation across the IP Practice Specialty Center. The role partners with attorneys and business teams to translate practice needs into scalable solutions that enhance client value.

Responsibilities include developing assets, piloting legal tech, and delivering training to promote adoption.

Qualifications

• J.D. and a 4-year degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney or in knowledge management, innovation, or legal operations.
• Proven experience with legal technology, generative AI, knowledge management principles, and process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovation, knowledge management, and workflow improvement projects for the IP PSC from concept through implementation.
• Contribute to client-facing solutions and alternative service delivery models.
• Support client presentations, demonstrations, and proposals showcasing the firm’s Practice Innovation capabilities.
• Measure and communicate the impact of Practice Innovation initiatives through adoption metrics and lessons learned.
• Capture and share successful use cases to expand impact across PSCs and the firm.
