Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to partner with the IP Practice Specialty Center. You will design AI-enabled workflows, develop reusable knowledge assets, and drive improvements in legal service delivery while ensuring attorney judgment guides work product.

Working closely with attorneys, practice leaders, and technology teams, you will translate needs into practical solutions, pilot tools, and scalable processes that enhance client value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Mandatory J.D. and a 4-year degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney or in knowledge management, innovation, or legal operations.
• Proven experience with legal technology, generative AI, knowledge management principles, and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary Practice Innovation liaison for the IP PSC, advising on innovation and knowledge management.
• Build trusted relationships with attorneys and practice leaders to improve service delivery, knowledge sharing, and client value.
• Translate practice and client needs into actionable knowledge, innovation, and technology initiatives.
• Develop, prototype, and govern knowledge assets (playbooks, templates, databases) for reuse across matters.
• Analyze workflows and implement automation, AI enablement, and scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with technology and business teams to ensure secure, scalable implementations.
