Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP seeks a Docketing Analyst to support IP attorneys and staff with daily, detailed docket information and deadlines. You will maintain docket portfolios, including complex and high-visibility matters, ensure accurate filings, and collaborate across the Docket team to uphold firm standards.

You will manage e-files in the IP Management System/iManage, perform audits of docketing processes, and assist with mass updates and intake as required, while maintaining client

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark and TTAB matters.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail from the USPTO and foreign agencies in a timely manner.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs.
• Provide guidance and respond to complex docket-related questions from the IP team.
• Maintain an accurate docket database and provide reports.
• Save client and legal documents to PATTSY; upload images to matter-level PATTSY page.
• Process abandoned and/or inactive files.
• Maintain and distribute a global docket calendar for domestic/international patents, trademarks and inter-parties.
• Maintain confidentiality of the Docket Department and clients.
• Ensure accuracy of docketing of documents received from USPTO and other agencies.
• Maintain e-files through IP Management System/iManage integration.
• Lead audits and mass updates as assigned.
