Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking an experienced IP Docketing Specialist to support attorneys and legal teams with patent and trademark prosecution and comprehensive IP docket management.

The role involves maintaining docketing systems, tracking US and international deadlines, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and outside counsel. Strong attention to detail and proficiency with IP tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an IP Docketing Specialist or IP Paralegal
• Strong knowledge of patent/trademark prosecution processes and deadlines
• Experience with US and foreign IP docketing
• Familiarity with USPTO procedures, maintenance fees, annuities, extensions
• Experience with IP docketing software or legal case management systems
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and IP databases

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update IP docketing systems and databases
• Track U.S. and international patent/trademark deadlines, filing dates, responses, maintenance fees, and prosecution events
• Review USPTO, foreign associate, client, and outside counsel correspondence and docket required deadlines
• Prepare and distribute docket reports, deadline reminders, and status updates
• Support patent and trademark filings, renewals, maintenance fees, and prosecution activities
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, foreign associates, clients, and outside counsel
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical IP files and records
• Perform quality-control checks and identify or escalate docket discrepancies
• Provide general administrative support to the IP team
