Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Docketing Specialist to support its Intellectual Property practice. The role focuses on maintaining the docketing system, managing deadlines, and assisting attorneys with a broad range of administrative and docketing tasks.

The position supports hybrid work across Texas offices including Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong MS Office skills and experience in US and foreign

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu, 9+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with US and foreign trademark docketing.
• Knowledge of docketing software applications is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Create records in the docketing database and calendar due dates.
• Follow up with attorneys and paralegals on actions due.
• Docket US and foreign prosecution mail, opposition, and appeals matters.
• Monitor and update attorney dockets daily with approaching deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of latest IP docketing rules.
