Job summary

Hologram is seeking a Solutions Engineer II to own onboarding from SIM provisioning to production, diagnose connectivity issues, and drive automation across the post-sale lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and account teams to deliver reliable IoT connectivity and scalable tooling.

The role emphasizes deep technical problem-solving, customer advocacy, and rapid learning of new technologies in a remote-first company with equity and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role owning onboarding through to production.
• Solid understanding of cellular networks and IoT devices.
• Experience with Python or Ruby, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Track record of building automations or integrations against real workflows.
• Experience applying AI tooling to support, onboarding, or operational workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding end to end, from SIM provisioning and device configuration to a live, production deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve SIM, device, and network connectivity issues across the full deployment lifecycle.
• Lead the team's automation work by removing manual tasks and building scalable solutions.
• Improve and automate the onboarding process, from SIM orders to provisioning and connectivity setup.
• Automate account-health monitoring and alerting for Account Management.
• Maintain and expand internal tooling, including AI-driven support tooling and documentation.
• Advocate for customers by surfacing product gaps to product and engineering.
• Write runbooks and hand off work to enable repeatable builds by any SE.
• Extend automation across post-sale paths: billing config, reconciliation, and renewals with Revenue Ops.
