Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an IoT Engineering Solutions Sales Specialist to accelerate growth across IoT & Engineering – Manufacturing practice. This role focuses on translating complex Industry 4.0 and engineering capabilities into measurable business outcomes for large manufacturing enterprises.

You will drive revenue across Product Engineering, ER&D, IoT, Digital Manufacturing, and Smart Operations while building deep executive relationships.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in manufacturing-focused sales, business development, or consulting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives through consultative, value-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute growth strategies for IoT & Engineering offerings across Industry 4.0, MOM/MES, WES, APM, Digital Thread, PLM, Product Engineering, and ER&D.
• Own and expand strategic Manufacturing accounts to drive net-new revenue and increase wallet share.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior leaders across engineering, operations, and IT.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles including proactive pursuits, RFP responses, and large digital transformation deals.
• Collaborate with delivery, solution, and industry teams to shape differentiated offerings, pricing structures, and value propositions.
• Oversee account planning, pipeline forecasting, and financial performance including revenue and TCV targets.
• Operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment to align cross-functional stakeholders across sales, consulting, delivery, and alliances.
