Job summary

Cognizant IoT Specialists work across a broad set of connected-device projects, including production support and algorithm development for IoT solutions. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, develop use cases, and help define security and system configurations.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering in C/C++/Java/Python, with cloud platform exposure and database experience, while operating in an onsite/offshore model at multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Exposure to IoT / cloud platforms (Azure, Google, AWS, etc.).
• Exposure to relational databases such as SQL and MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Work on IoT specific applications in Level 3 production support solving medium to complex technical issues.
• Develop algorithms and test IoT solutions for functionality, scale, and performance.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand IoT needs and draft use cases and diagrams.
