Job summary

JLL is seeking an IoT Operations SME to ensure reliable, secure building platforms, spanning HVAC, lighting, and FLS. You will drive operational efficiency and energy optimization while advancing cloud-connected building technologies across regional portfolios.

The role requires executing regional strategies, enforcing BOS/BACnet standards, mitigating cyber risks, and coordinating with site teams to deliver standardized solutions and robust incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in Building Automation Systems/IoT.
• BMS/BAS experience required; ALC experience preferred.
• Lighting controls experience (Lutron, nLight, Enlighted) a plus.
• IoT device management and knowledge of standards encouraged.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transition to cloud-connected smart building operations.
• Define frameworks, governance, and procedures for site teams.
• Enforce BOS/BACnet standards across projects and changes.
• Drive cybersecurity, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Oversee maintenance, integration, and upgrades of BMS systems.
• Manage asset inventories, OEM patch cadences, and lifecycle planning.
• Map data points to cloud platforms and reduce alarm fatigue.
