Job summary

JLL is seeking an IoT Operations SME to ensure reliable operation, optimization, and security of digital building platforms across our portfolio. You will drive energy efficiency, cybersecurity compliance, and occupant comfort through standardized cloud-connected building technologies.

You will lead regional strategy, enforce BOS/BACnet standards, and coordinate with BOS Global Team on deployments, patches, and capital budgeting for hardware refreshes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in Building Automation/BMS/IoT.
• Experience with BOS/BACnet standards and regional/portfolio projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transition of portfolios to cloud-connected smart building operations.
• Enforce BOS and BACnet standards across projects to minimize changes and vendor silos.
• Drive cybersecurity milestones, patching cadence, and vulnerability management.
• Maintain and upgrade regional BMS WebCTRL servers and related software/tools.
• Oversee OEM software deployments and pilot solutions (e.g., Distech on Niagara).
• Coordinate with site operations and vendors for capital budgeting and asset lifecycle.
