Job summary

JLL seeks an IoT Operations SME to ensure reliable operation, optimization, and security of digital building platforms across the portfolio. You will drive energy optimization, cybersecurity compliance, and occupant comfort, coordinating with BOS/BACnet standards and regional teams from Thornton, CO and other U.S. sites.

The role requires building automation expertise, strong communication, and ability to translate complex IoT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years Building Automation Systems/IoT experience.
• Experience with BMS/BAS and IoT platforms.
• Strong communication and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transition of building portfolios to cloud-connected smart building operations.
• Enforce BOS and BACnet standards across projects to reduce silos and change orders.
• Drive cybersecurity, risk management, and vulnerability response.
• Manage maintenance, configuration, and upgrades for regional BMS WebCTRL servers and tools.
• Oversee OEM software deployment and pilot solutions (e.g., Distech on Niagara).
• Maintain asset inventories and manage OEM patch cadences for firmware/hardware.
