Job summary

JLL is seeking a Technical Manager to maintain and optimize building systems including HVAC, PLCs, and BMS. You will lead troubleshooting, documentation, and team coordination to ensure seamless facilities operations across multiple sites in Michigan.

The role emphasizes safety, cost savings, and continuous improvement while coordinating with contractors and internal teams. On-site with occasional after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and building automation.
• Experience with Maximo CMMS and Corrigo is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to PM tasks, work orders, and client service calls daily.
• Manage building management systems, including Tridium platforms, with contractors.
• Provide after-hours support for critical facility systems as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving projects.
