Job summary

JLL is seeking an IoT Operations SME to ensure reliable, secure, and optimized digital building platforms across the portfolio. You will drive cloud-connected smart building operations spanning HVAC, lighting, and FLS, with emphasis on cybersecurity, governance, and occupant comfort.

You will lead regional initiatives, enforce BOS/BACnet standards, and partner with BOS IoT teams, engineers, contractors, and lab personnel to deliver standardized solutions and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in Building Automation Systems/IoT.
• Experience with BMS/BAS and IoT device management.
• Knowledge of BOS, BACnet standards, and network security practices.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with executives and frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transition to cloud-connected smart building operations.
• Define regional tech strategies to support standardization and roadmaps.
• Enforce BOS/BACnet standards across projects to reduce change orders.
• Oversee maintenance and upgrades of regional BMS WebCTRL servers and tools.
• Coordinate OEM software deployments and pilot solutions (e.g., Distech on Niagara).
• Manage asset inventories, patch cadences, and EOL strategies.
• Utilize FDD and analytics to improve efficiency and reduce alarm fatigue.
• Review third-party contracts and monitor system metrics.
