Job summary

Metrohm USA is seeking a Field Service Specialist – Ion Chromatography to service customers across the NYC, Boston, Providence area and surrounding regions. The territory includes New York City, Boston and nearby markets, with travel across multiple states as needed.

You will perform installations, calibrations, maintenance, and refresher trainings on benchtop IC systems, while supporting customers on-site and remotely.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or closely related science required.
• 2–4 years hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, calibrations, maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Manage a dynamic multi-state travel schedule and strong customer relationships.
