Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Morelia, MX is seeking a Field Service Engineer specialized in Chromatography to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Agilent and multi-vendor systems at customer sites.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, train customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Travel up to 75% within northern Mexico is required. Strong English communication and documentation skills are expected.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required.
• Minimum 1+ years in a similar role or as an end user of HPLC systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Mexican passport and U.S. Visa
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to customer sites.
• Willingness to travel up to 45%+ of the time.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, optimize, and maintain hardware, software, and network products at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment, system, and product performance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and service activities.
• Deliver integrated solutions including peripherals, communications systems, and software as designed.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and best practices to improve reliability.
• Mentor and train field engineers and end users on operation and troubleshooting.
