Job summary

Alumni Ventures in Manchester, NH seeks an Investor Relations Associate to support our investor community and gain hands-on exposure to venture capital, investor relations, and fund operations.

You’ll work with Managing Partners, Community Managers, and cross-functional teams to support fundraising, investor engagement, and onboarding.

No VC experience required, but interest in investing, startups, and financial markets is preferred; strong communication and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer-facing environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and provide thoughtful support to customers or stakeholders.
• Ability to learn and effectively use new systems, tools, and business processes.
• Interest in learning about investing, venture capital, financial markets, startups, or related business topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for prospective and existing investors.
• Respond to investor questions through email, phone, webinars, events, and other channels.
• Provide timely, accurate, and thoughtful support using approved resources and internal playbooks.
• Help individuals navigate Alumni Ventures’ offerings, processes, and community experience.
• Build strong relationships with investors, community members, and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver a high-touch, service-oriented investor journey, onboarding and ongoing engagement.
