Job summary

Alumni Ventures in Boston seeks a Client Services Associate to support our investor community and gain hands-on exposure to venture capital, investor relations, and fund operations. You will work with Managing Partners, Community Managers, and cross-functional teams to assist fundraising initiatives, investor onboarding, and ongoing engagement, delivering a high-touch investor experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer-facing roles such as customer success or operations.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in investing, venture capital, startups, or related topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day contact for prospective and existing investors.
• Respond to investor questions via email, phone, webinars, events, and other channels.
• Provide timely, accurate support using approved resources and playbooks.
• Help investors navigate Alumni Ventures' offerings and community experience.
• Build relationships with investors and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-touch investor journey.
• Support onboarding and ongoing investor engagement efforts.
• Collaborate with Managing Partners and senior leaders on fundraising initiatives and fund operations.
• Assist with virtual events, investor meetings, and follow-up activities.
• Help ensure smooth execution of investor engagement and operational processes.
• Track engagement activity and key metrics, and maintain data quality.
