Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operational management of assigned client accounts.
  • Assist with new account launches, changes, documentation, testing, and readiness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to resolve inquiries.
  • Monitor and investigate cash, reconciliation, and settlement exceptions.
  • Review account activity and cash flows for discrepancies.
  • Maintain procedures, documentation, trackers, and control records.
  • Support risk, control, audit, and client due-diligence requests.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
  • Participate in testing and implementation of new systems and workflows.
  • Assist with documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing.
  • Build strong relationships across operations, technology, finance, and teams.

Job description

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve operational inquiries and issues.
  • Monitor and investigate cash, position, reconciliation, trade settlement, performance, and reporting exceptions.
  • Review account activity and cash flows to identify discrepancies or items requiring additional follow-up.
  • Maintain procedures, account documentation, operational trackers, and control-related records.
  • Support risk, control, audit, and client due‑diligence requests as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline operational processes.
  • Participate in testing and implementation of new systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Assist with procedure documentation, training materials, and team knowledge‑sharing.
  • Build strong working relationships across operations, technology, finance, and other internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in investment operations, asset management, financial services, fund accounting, custody, reconciliation, client service, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while independently managing assigned responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with institutional investment products, account operations, cash flows, reconciliations, or client reporting.
  • Experience analyzing data using Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, and data validation.
  • Exposure to process improvement, operational controls, user acceptance testing, or workflow automation.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Interest in investment operations, technology, data quality, and process improvement.
