Job summary

Mission Staffing seeks an Operations Associate for a buy-side firm in New York to support daily and monthly cash and position reconciliations and assist with trade settlement. You will help ensure accurate books and records across portfolios within a small Operations team.

You will liaise with custodians, prime brokers, and the Investor Services team on onboarding and flows, while contributing to process improvements as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1.5+ years of buy-side operations experience.
• Experience with cash and position reconciliations, trade settlement, and other core investment operations processes.
• Familiarity with common investment operations systems is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support daily and monthly cash and position reconciliations, helping maintain accurate books and records across portfolios.

• Book daily cash flows and support timely, accurate trade settlement.
• Assist with corporate actions tracking and verification, as well as new account and security setup.

• Collaborate with colleagues across Operations and the broader firm to strengthen processes, resolve issues, and support the firm's continued growth.
