Job summary

Gold Search Solutions, a growing investment management organization in New York, seeks a Reconciliation Analyst for its Operations team. You will perform daily reconciliations across cash, trades, positions, and P&L to ensure data accuracy and integrity across internal and external records.

Collaborating with fund administrators, custodians, prime brokers, and internal stakeholders, you will investigate breaks, support NAV validation, and contribute to reporting metrics and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within fund operations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation across cash, positions, and P&L.
• Experience supporting multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives).
• Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, settlement, and investment operations workflows.

Responsibilities

A growing investment management organization is seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to join its Operations team. This individual will be responsible for supporting daily reconciliation activities across multiple operational functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of transaction, position, cash, and valuation data. The role partners closely with internal teams and external service providers to investigate and resolve exceptions, maintain operational controls, and support daily reporting and NAV oversight. Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations across cash, trades, positions, and P&L activity to ensure accuracy and completeness of internal and external records.
• Monitor and support trade matching, affirmation, and confirmation processes across a variety of asset classes, including both listed and OTC products.
• Reconcile portfolio management and trading system data against accounting records and third‑party service providers.
• Investigate, escalation, and resolve reconciliation breaks and exceptions while maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails.
• Partner with fund administrators, counterparties, custodians, prime brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
• Review exception reports and aged items, ensuring timely resolution within established service level expectations.
• Analyze differences between internal books and records and external sources, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Support daily control processes and contribute to NAV validation and sign‑off procedures.
• Produce and maintain operational reporting, including reconciliation metrics, exception trends, and process performance statistics.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and operational efficiency projects.
