Job summary

GOAT Group is seeking an Inventory Leader to manage and develop a high-volume warehouse team in Fontana, CA. You will own daily operations, drive accuracy, and partner with Engineering to optimize network processes while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will analyze data to spot trends, support succession planning, and lead a team of 10+ staff through coaching and performance management in a fast-paced logistics environment with heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience managing 10+ staff.
• 2-5 years in high-volume inventory control, preferably sneakers.
• Strong in order fulfillment and inbound/outbound processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Docs, Excel, and SQL.
• Able to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with a strong accuracy focus.
• Able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understand daily goals and proactively call out risks to meet team targets.
• Promote safety and teamwork while modeling core values.
• Oversee people management and development of the Inventory team.
• Take ownership of on-hand products in physical and system locations.
• Use data to analyze trends and develop network solutions with Engineering.
• Support SOP creation for Quality Control in Inventory.
• Plan 3-6 month succession and headcount visibility for the team.
• Maintain flexibility for additional projects in a dynamic warehouse.
• Operate in a warehouse with heavy equipment.
