Job summary

GOAT Group in Fontana, CA is seeking an Inventory Team Lead to manage daily warehouse operations within the global distribution network. You will lead the Inventory team, drive performance metrics, and ensure accurate, efficient fulfillment.

Responsibilities include coaching 10+ staff, ownership of on-hand inventory, and collaboration with Engineering to optimize processes while maintaining safety. This role requires adaptation to peak periods and extended hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team of 10+ staff.
• Extensive background in high-volume inventory control, sneakers industry preferred.
• Strong in order fulfillment, fulfillment support, order picking and inbound/outbound operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Excel and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Inventory team, coaching 10+ staff to meet operational goals.
• Oversee Shrink KPIs, inventory unit accuracy, process accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Promote safety culture and GOAT Group values across the team.
• Own on-hand products in both physical and system locations.
• Analyze data to identify trends and partner with Engineering to improve processes.
• Support Quality Control expectations within Inventory.
• Plan 3–6 month headcount visibility for the Inventory team.
• Adapt to evolving processes and maintain proactive team attitude.
• Work in a dynamic warehouse with heavy equipment.
