Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Athens, AL is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee receiving accuracy, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and compliance, partnering with the Store Operations Manager to support store performance.

You will maintain stock integrity, process direct POs and transfers, support BOPIS/OMNI routines, perform forklift operations, and help ensure safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred, not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Receive Direct POs, Mix Center/Lane freight, and DC transfers.
• Process truck unloads, stage totes, and complete Loader Feedback Survey.
• Stock and tag freight per process standards and perform inventory adjustments.
• Review Negative On Hand Report and execute follow-ups.
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
• May require other duties as assigned.
