Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Receiver to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines supporting store operations. The role collaborates with the Store Operations Manager to ensure adherence to the updated operating model.

The position requires flexibility, strong customer service, and the ability to handle varied duties such as PO receipt, freight handling, and reconciliation tasks, all in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18 years old or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Greet customers and uncover needs; recommend products.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach team members.
• Operate forklift and propane inspections.
• Support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs and transfers; handle freight.
• Stock and tag freight; create fill to capacity picklists.
• Review reports and complete compliance actions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
