Job summary

The Penske Maintenance Coordinator will oversee inventory productivity and administration at the branch(s), ensuring timely service support, accuracy in PartsNet, and alignment with warranty and service processes. This role supports profitability and customer satisfaction by maintaining organized parts storage and coordinating with the branch financial team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required.
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Full oversight of inventory productivity at the branch(es) for timely service support.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through ordering parts per procedure and coordinating with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive and store parts, update PartsNet, and perform regular cycle counts.
• Manage new & used battery inventory and ensure tires are available as needed.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped and received on time; coordinate with warranty department.
• Coordinate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
• Vendor support and accountability; ensure payments are processed correctly.
