Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead as designated on-duty, resolve customer questions, and model service best practices.
• Oversee inventory processes: create, review, and receive orders with accuracy.
• Scan deliveries in-store, verify vendor shipments, and correct discrepancies.
• Verify pharmacy shipments; post and audit pharmacy orders and recalls as needed.
• Manage On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed areas and vendor/DSP shipments.
• Support pricing tasks: updates, markdowns, and signage accuracy.
• Assist front-end and pharmacy ordering; monitor and control excess orders.
• Maintain accurate counts of basic departments, stockroom, and overstock.
• Coach team in inventory systems and package delivery activities.
• Register sales on POS, handle price verifications, refunds, and cash drops as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain professional relations.
