Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related inventory control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehousing terminology.
• Skills in mathematics, Excel, and spreadsheets required.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
• Accuracy and thoroughness with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root cause.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer.
• Process returned shipments and determine quality status of inventory.
• Ensure proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Participate in physical inventories or samplings to ensure integrity of the process.
• Locate products within the system and correct discrepancies.
• Identify and research unique inventory occurrences to prevent discrepancies.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance.
• Observe safety rules and assist in enforcement.
• Other duties as assigned.
