Job summary

Prime Controls is a Dallas, TX-based systems integration firm seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy and align system records with on-hand material. You will support transactions, perform cycle counts, and conduct audits to ensure accuracy for downstream kitting, job-site delivery, and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Strong counting accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience verifying on-hand quantities against system records.
• Ability to read part numbers, lot numbers, and serial numbers.
• Experience with inventory systems and Excel.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying on-hand quantities against system records.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies before adjustments.
• Confirm material location and that quantities, lot numbers, and serial numbers match.
• Process adjustments, receipts, transfers, and returns the same day they occur.
• Assist receiving, put-away, kitting, and shipping during high-volume periods.
• Keep count sheets, adjustment records, and audit documentation complete and traceable.
• Follow all inventory control procedures and wear PPE; report hazards.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand/walk for the full shift.
