Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations through inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines. The role involves receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, transfer, buyback/RTV, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

The position requires flexibility for varied hours and a strong focus on Legendary Customer Service. Forklift operation and safety procedures are essential parts of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail or farming/ranching/pet/equine/welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Receive Direct POs and various freight transfers; execute unloading plans.
• Stock and tag freight; create fill-to-capacity picklists for the Freight Team.
• Complete inventory adjustments and reconcile discrepancies per company process.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and receiving standards.
• Operate forklift and other equipment safely and efficiently.
