Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations through accurate receiving, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation. You will manage transfers, buybacks/RTV, and compliance routines while partnering with the Store Operations Manager to uphold Legendary Customer Service.

The role requires flexibility for varying shifts, basic computer and math skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced retail distribution environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, reading, writing and counting ability required.
• Basic math and strong interpersonal skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Service and support Customer engagement and coaching.
• Receive Direct POs and freight transfers; complete forklift and loading tasks as needed.
• Pull OMNI orders and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Handle inventory adjustments and reconcile discrepancies per company standards.
• Complete all related documentation accurately and timely.
